Ide sa !
Stretávací point bolo veľké parkovisko na Donovaloch o 10:20. Počet bajkerov sa vyšplhal na slušných 5 kusov. Západnú (bratislavskú) vrstvu zastupovali Marek a Saso, východný (mičigenský) blok bol v zastúpení Maťo, Pali a Tomáš.
posádka – Maťo, Saso, Marek, Tomáš, Pali
Prvotný plán bol odstaviť autá hneď do kempu Tajov, kde budeme ubytovaní. Z Tajova sa spustiť do Banskej Bystrice, nasadnúť na cyklobus, ktorý nás odvezie priamo na Donovaly. Tento plán vyšiel len bratislavskej posádke, východniari to časovo nedali, preto auto odparkovali na spomínanom parkovisku.
Po uvítacom glgu ohňovej vody sme nasadli na naše stroje a nasmerovali sme si to k lanovke Nová Hoľa. Od parkoviska je to len kúsok dole kopcom.
Lanovka počas hlavnej sezóny premáva od 8:00 do 18:00. Lístok pre jednu osobu s bajkom stojí 5€. Hore to trvá cca 10 min, výsledkom je nádherný výhľad z výšky 1350 mnm. Určite dobre investovaných 5 šušňov. Ak chceš čeknúť nejaké to info o lanovke tak klikaj TU. Spoločnú foto (viď nižšie), nám spravila ochotná dáma, ktorá sa vybrala na turistiku s malým drobcom v kočíku. Po fotke šla turistikovať, ale bez svojej najdôležitejšiej batožiny. Po chvíli sa ale po ňu vrátila. Čo už, stáva sa 😀 . My sme si nasadili na hlavy prilby a naša tour začína …

Smer Korytnica – kúpele
A začína dosť zostra – downhillom. Z vrcholu Novej Hole sa spúšťame po štrkovo-trávnato-kamenistej trase a snažíme sa napojiť na modrú cyklotrasu č. 2585. Je to celkom problém, nakoľko je pri nás viacero vychodených cestičiek, ale značenie chýba. 5 múdrych hláv teda spoločne určí smer a pokračujeme v zjazde. Vôkol nás nádherné scenérie, počasie jak lusk, proste parádička. Terén sa nám pomaly zmenil a ideme takým lúčnym, trávnatým povrchom. O pár minút stojíme, čekujeme mapy a otáčame sa späť – minuli sme odbočku. Cestička sa totiž počas zjazdu križuje s mini otočkou do vysokej buriny. A to je tá cestička čo hľadáme.

Downhill Nová Hoľa
Po rýchlom, mierne strmom zjazde prichádzame na križovatku trás Zadná (963 mnm). Opäť vyťahujem z kapsičky cykloturistické mapy a skúšam zistiť, ktorým smerom máme ísť. Tomáš vyťahuje mapy v mobile a špekulujeme. Zhodli sme sa teda na jednom smere, snáď sa nebudeme musieť po 300 metroch otáčať. Prvým dnešným checkpointom sú kúpele Korytnica.

K nim nás priblíži zelená cyklotrasa 5467, ktorá je vo väčšine zjazdom a ktorá je bohatá na mláky a blato. Biely dres nebola najlepšia voľba.
Trasa vedie k tabuli Korytnická dolina (785 mnm) nachádzajúcej sa popri ceste prvej triedy, kde potrebujeme prejsť na jej druhú stranu. V tomto bode treba dávať veľký pozor na premávku. Krátkym úsekom tejto cesty ideme aj my až k bodu Korytnica – rázcestie.

Odtiaľ je to do prvého hlavného bodu Korytnica – kúpele už len kúsok. Dovedie nás tam zelená cyklotrasa 5457. Mierným stúpaním sme to dobojovali do týchto kedysi slávnych kúpeľov, ktoré žiaľ už majú svoje najlepšie časy dávno za sebou. Zatvorené boli v roku 2003. Míňame dom za domom veriac, že v niektorom z nich vyviera chmeľový prameň. Náš sen sa stáva skutočnosťou, zaslúžené pivečko sme našli v penzióne Svätopluk. Okrem chmeľovej polievky sme si dali aj kuraciu, ktorá bola vynikajúca. Určite odporúčam. Vedúcko je sympatický pánko, prehodil s nami zopár slov a trošku požartoval. Sily sme dobili, tak pokračujeme ďalej. Napájame sa späť na už spomínanú zelenú trasu 5457a smerujeme si to popri prameňoch (ktoré sú obnovené a je možné z nich čapovať) do lesa. Ak sa chceš dozvedieť o týchto kúpeľoch o niečo viac, klikaj TU.

Na Kečku
Stúpanie. To je to čo charakterizuje ďalšiu časť tour. Ide však len o viac-menej mierne stúpanie, takže je to ok. Super je aj to, že cyklotrasa vedie cez hustý les, nakoľko je niečo pod 30°C, tak aj to poteší. Vo viacerých periodikách sa uvádza, že odtiaľto začína jedna z najkrajších cykloturistických trás na Donovaloch. Vopred môžem povedať, že je to tak. Druhý hlavný checkpoint je Kečka (1225 mnm). Aby sme došli k tomuto vrchu, tak ešte máme čo robiť. Nieje to až tak ďaleko, len to stúpanie a to teplo robí svoje. Dorazili sme naHiadeľské sedlo (1103 mnm). Je to križovatka viacerých smerov, takže opäť mapy a zisťovať kade kudy.
Hiadeľské sedlo (1103mnm)
Pár metrov od nás sa nachádza aj útulňa pri Hiadeľskom sedle, využiteľná na jednorázové prenocovanie. Po čeknutí mapy sa vydávame stále po starej známej zelenej trase5457. Musíme sa ale vrátiť o pár metrov späť, lebo vjazd na trasu sa nachádza pri tabuli Pod Hiadeľským sedlom. Pred nami sa už vyškiera Kečka, k nej sa musíme predrať po úzkom chodníčku stratenom v húštine trávy. Má to svoje čaro. Ideme po hrebeni hôr, pomalým tempom, nakoľko stále stúpame a keďže sme už mimo lesa, tak na nás kvalitne pripeká. Daná lokalita patrí dokonca pod prírodnú rezerváciu Kozí chrbát. Pred Kečkou sa nachádza ešte jeden point, ním je Sedlo Hadlanka (1160 mnm). Odtiaľ je krásny výhľad na trasu, ktorou sa predierame a na dlho očakávanú Kečku. Ako si môžte všimnúť na fotke, tak na tabuli sa nenachádza naša zelená trasa, ktorou ideme už od Korytnice a ktorá pokračuje aj naďalej. Lemuje ju totiž známa červená Cesta Hrdinov SNP, ktorá pravdepodobne dostala v značení prednosť.

Kečka (1225 mnm) – druhý dnešný top checkpoint pokorený. Jasné počasie nám dáva darček v podobe unikátnych výhľadov z každej strany. Nízke Tatry máme ako na dlani. Vidieť je aj východiskový bod dnešnej tour a tak si opticky premeriavame koľko sme už prešli. Vyzerá to, že sme si už dali riadne do tela. Realita je však iná a reálne sme prešli len smiešnych cca 17,5 km. Obhájiť si to samozrejme vieme už spomínaným teplom a zbieraním výškových metrov 🙂 . Dobitie baterky v podobe občerstvenia je nutnosťou, nakoľko nie sme ani v polovici a už sme v celku off.

Kečka (1225mnm)
Špania dolina
Je čas Kečku pomaly opustiť a pobrať sa o dům dál. Sme dosť vysoko a cestička smeruje krásne strmo dole. Prilby na gebuľu a ideme si užiť zjazd. Downhill po úzkej trávnatej trase sa čochvíľa mení na kamenistú cestu posiatu mohutnými koreňmi a strmým klesaním. Treba si sedadlo znížiť na minimum a poriadne korigovať pohyb aby sa to dalo ustáť. V istých momentoch sa to však ustáť nedá a je potreba bajk potlačiť, prípadne preniesť ponad korene.
Zjazd z Kečky
Dostávame sa na menšiu čistinku, kde je akási šípka smerujúca na ľavú stranu, kde v pozadí vidno nejakú chatku. Nejako extra sme to neriešili, ale pravdepodobne by malo ísť o ďalšiu útulňu pre turistov. Trochu som pogúglil a vyzerá to na veľmi sympatickú chalúpku, ktorá by vedela poňať aj cca 10 ľudí a má dokonca aj vlastný FB profil Útulňa pod Kečkou. Pokračujeme ďalej po trase 5457, prechádzame cez prírodné rezervácie Štrosy a Barania hlava. Zrazu stojíme, BajkerTeam totiž dostal chuť na čučoriedky, ktoré sú v tomto úseku všade. Túto lokalitku určite radi navštevujú aj medvede.
Trošku čuča nezaškodí
Mám pocit, že v týchto momentoch viac stojíme ako ideme, tak sa snažím zvyšok tímu trochu popohnať. Trasa vedie cez les a terén je vcelku v pohode, nejaký ten kameň a koreň už ani nerátam. Dostávame sa ku križovatke trás a konečne opúšťame našu zelenú cyklocestu a točíme doľava, kde súbežne vedú modrá trasa č.2583 a žltá trasa č. 8620. Obe tieto cesty nás privedú k tabuli Pri Javore. Táto časť trasy je pre mňa jedna z najkrajších. Doslova sa preháňame po kopcoch vo výške na úrovni cca 1000 m. Ideme prevažne zjazdom, v rýchlosti cítiť prúd vetra ako ti lemuje prilbu a pri tom ti syčí do uší. V obklopení hôr dávame downhill, potom zašlapeme, aby sme sa opäť o niečo spustili. Úplná sloboda.

Od Pri Javore pokračujeme zelenou cyklotrasou 5586. Táto trasa je časťou Svätojakúbskej cesty, ktorá spája Bratislavu s Košicami. Dostávame sa do bodu Krčahy, kde sa križujú dve cyklotrasy. Odporúčam spomaliť, lebo sa môže ľahko stať, že touto časťou len prefrčíte. Je umiestnená v rýchlom zjazde a odbočku naľavo, kde pokračuje žltá značka si nemusíte vôbec všimnúť. V našom prípad by to nevadilo, nakoľko pokračujeme bez odbočenia. Hustým lesom pokračujeme dál a dál, až pokiaľ sa ocitneme na rázcestí Izbica. Tu stretávame týpka, ktorý dostal defekt a tak nešťastný pomaly kráča popri bajku smerom k civilizácii. Nezávidím, má ešte čo robiť. Čo robiť máme aj my, čas je už pokročilý, cca 17:00 hod a to nie sme ešte ani v našom v poradí treťom veľkom checkpointe – Španej doline. Trasy, ktoré šli celú dobu súbežne, sa v tomto bode rozdeľujú. Po nezhode sme sa (ne)dohodli a pokračovali modrou trasou č. 2583. Míňame body Jelenská skala – lúky a Žiare, až prichádzame do dôležitého bodu – Sedlo Horný Šturec. Tieto kilometre už melieme z posledného, únava a najmä hlad robia svoje.

V bode Sedlo Horný Šturec sme sa rozdelili na 2 skupinky. Každá šla svojou cestou. Pali a Saso dôverovali značke na smerovníku a šli teda podľa neho. Pokračovali v cyklotrase 2583. Maťo, Tomáš a Marek dôverovali mapám v mobile a šli podľa nich, spustili sa strmou neoznačenou cestičkou a vyšli v bode Sedlo Dolný Šturec. Online mapy nesklamali. Odtiaľ sme sa už len krásne spustili po zelenej značke č. 5586 priamo do Španej doliny. Aj keď v tejto banskej obci je čo pozerať, tak naše oči videli len terasku reštaurácie Klopačka, kde sme okamžite nabehli. Naši zablúdenci sa ocitli až niekde pri Šachtičkách, k nám trafili približne po polhodine. Bližšie info o Španej doline čekuj TU.

Špania (hladová) dolina
Stratení v tme
Dojedli sme a vyrážame ďalej. Cieľom je štvrtý checkpoint s prívlastkom cieľový – Tajov camp. Čas je už v skutku pokročilý, niečo tesne po 19:00. Zo Španej doliny sa spúšťame asfaltovou cestou smerom na Uľanku. Je to v podstate hlavná cesta ktorá sem vedie. Treba preto dávať maximálny pozor, či sa niečo nevyrúti oproti. Zjazd je fest rýchly, v niektorých úsekoch fičíme rýchlosťou nad 60 km/h. Pri Kaplnke Sedembolestnej Panny Márie zatáčame doprava na Uľanku, čo je najsevernejšia mestská časť Banskej Bystrice. Kúsok ideme aj po hlavnej ceste E77, ktorá sa po chvíli predeľuje, pokračujeme naľavo. Po pár metroch na ľavej strane zazrieme cestičku. Je to začiatok zelenej cyklotrasy č.5569 a zároveň začiatok pekla. Vedie do obce Riečka, čo je pomerne blízko od Tajova. Je to optická skratka cez les a vyhneme sa jazde po hlavnej ceste za šera. Na jej začiatku stretávame pánka, ktorý sa čuduje, že kam sa to o takejto hodine trepeme, že začínajú vychádzať medvede, ktoré sú v tomto okolí premnožené. Nastupuje porada, či ísť po hlavnej, alebo touto trasou. Apelujem na hlavnú cestu, hoci je dlhšia, ale sfúkneme to rýchlejšie ako cez les v tme. Zamieta sa. Ideme cez les, kde sú medvede, lebo je to bezpečnejšie a kratšie… Trasa začína miernym stúpaním lesnou cestičkou. Označenie trasy je nejakými znakmi v podobe hradu/bane ? Niečo také. Začína tma, pre istotu zvoníme zvončekmi a rozprávame sa. Cyklotrasa akosi pomaly mizne, taktiež znakov akosi nikde. Na rad prichádza technika a internety. Tie hovoria, že sa musíme napojiť na tamtú trasu tam hore. Asi. Tak tlačíme bajky niekde mimo cestu, aby sme sa napojili na trasu, ktorá tam snáď bude. Bola. Ale cyklistická ani zďaleka, nanajvýš turistická. Tma, že ledva vidíš na meter a stúpanie, kde už musíš len tlačit bike. Fyzicky som už odišiel dávno, psychicky až teraz. Po tomto trápení sme vyšli niekde, kde sa zrazu už dalo vyliezť na bicykel a dole v pozadí bolo vidieť nejaké svetlá. Nočný zjazd jak lusk až do dediny Riečka. Yes, prežili sme 😀 . Odtiaľto už pekne po hlavnej ceste až do Tajova. Camping samozrejme musia mať až za dedinou, ktorá nemá konca kraja. Dorazili sme o 21:25.
Nakoľko som ale auto nechal na Donovaloch, tak sme s Marekom na jeho fáre šli ešte poňho. Zvyšok posádky zatiaľ odbehol na pivo do Tajova. Pri vchádzaní autami do areálu campu nám cestu skrížil divočák a dve malé švinky. Na chatke sme dali glga ohňovej vody a šli spať.
